As cells divide they progressively commit — from uncommitted, to a germ layer, to a lineage, to a cell type. Each band shows the fraction (or count) of cells in a commitment state at every timepoint. Click a germ layer to focus its lineages, a lineage to expand it into its cell types, or a cell type to trace it alone.
